Zenith Virago comes to Walawaani Way in Bodalla!
It is with huge excitement that I announce that the renowned (famous) Zenith Virago is coming to Bodalla!
Zenith is someone who I have talked to over the many years of establishing the conservation burial in Bodalla, helpfully giving advice and boundless encouragement along the way.
She is an amazing woman who has changed so many peoples’ lives… paving the way for Natural Burials in Australia. She is so widely admired in this line of work.
One day out of the Blue…. as I was looking into travelling to Mullumbimby near Bryon for one of her natural burial courses - I thought I’d be brave - and simply ask the question - if she would do one of her well-known Death Walker Courses in Bodalla. I thought my chances were far from slim! After a few emails back and forth (and I’m sure she had a look at the map of where Bodalla was!) - she incredibly she said YES!!!
I couldn't believe it! Zenith Virago coming to Bodalla!
Zenith is keen to promote that she will be hosting one of her courses in Bodalla as her other courses are booked out.. BUT but she has kindly agreed to hold off as we give YOU the opportunity to come! There are only 15 students per class and it’s important that the locals of the South Coast and those who have followed and shown interest in Walawaani Way are invited first.
Having the knowledge and skills on the South Coast is imperative if we are to offer services in-line with what Walawaani Way stands for. Already we have 5 signed up who are locals who will provide services around the burial.
The Death Walker Course is for 3 days next year - the 8th, 9th and 10th May 2026.
If you are reading this and would like to come, email me: fiona@walawaaniway.com and I’ll send you the Application forms. Be quick as this is a very rare and special event (she also keeps saying she is going to retire… which I hope is not true but also more reason to come.)
